I suffer from the irrational fear of heights which often affects my ability to go about ordinary day-to-day activities. My distorted perception of depth leaves me with the constant feeling of falling coupled with dizziness and sweaty palms. In a bid to ignore the visions of the ground around me collapsing, I tend to hyper fixate on a vanishing point while going as fast as I can through the ‘obstacle’—which seems to last forever.
